MEMBER BIOS

Walter C. Bronson

Vice-Chairman, Plumsted MUA

Mr. Bronson is a Civil Engineer specializing in Land Development work in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. Mr. Bronson is a licensed Professional Engineer in both states, a Certified Municipal Engineer in NJ, and a LEED Accredited Professional by the US Green Building Council. Mr. Bronson graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1985.

During the course of his professional career, Mr. Bronson has managed the civil/site design and permitting for a variety of municipal infrastructure projects, new secondary schools as well as land development projects throughout New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. Two significant projects managed by Mr Bronson were the 1.75 Million square foot $400MM former Merrill Lynch Southfields Campus in Hopewell, NJ and the former Pfizer $440MM R&D facility expansion in Morris Plains, NJ.

Mr. Bronson has been a Township resident since 2004. In addition to the MUA, he also serves on the Township’s Land Use Board.

Robert W. Minter
Treasurer, Plumsted MUA

A resident of Plumsted Township for 16 years, Robert Minter is employed as a Construction Manager for an engineering consulting firm. He has over 33 years of experience in the pipeline industry including: project/construction/facility management, operations, maintenance, installation, safety, repair, spill control/prevention and security.

He served in the United States Navy and is currently a member of the American Legion and the Elks.

Robert and his wife Mary Ann have two married sons and three grandchildren. Their sons are employed in the fields of law enforcement and education.

Edward J. Weirsky, Jr.

Member, Plumsted MUA

Mr. Weirsky is Operations Manager for a major petroleum product pipeline and is responsible for overseeing all the company’s operations, maintenance and regulatory compliance in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware. During his 23-year tenure with the company, he has held operational and environmental management positions, overseeing multimillion dollar capital and expense budgets, managing regional environmental regulatory compliance programs including waste, wastewater, NPDES and air programs, and supervising emergency response and remediation.

A resident of Plumsted for the last 15 years, Ed is an active community participant, serving on the Township’s Environmental Commission and as auditor for New Egypt Elks Lodge #2457. He has coached teams for the New Egypt Soccer Club and the Plumsted Youth Basketball League and has been active in other organizations to support his daughters' extracurricular activities in New Egypt High School's Drama Club, Band Parent Association and Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore.

Mr. Weirsky earned his BA in economics from Rutgers University.
